The days, weeks, months and years seem to have wings..today they buried Wally McIlmuray Sr. He was one of my go-to guys 35 years ago when he was in his prime around the Detroit circuit. Rest in peace Wally and we all will see you later at that big-track in the sky.....Meanwhile I have selections ready for The Meadows and Pompano..Click on this spot for Friday's Meadows and Pompano..pdf selections and check back if I decide to post anything else...Good luck and have a pleasant evening Handicapping Harness. I'll take what appears to be an off-track stab for the afternoon cards at Monticello, Freehold and Dover..click here for Soggy Selections.pdf as I have made most of the selections based on off-track biases...check back for possible evening selections and as usual..Good luck and have a pleasant afternoon Handicapping Harness! So far the "weather or not" selections have been "NOT", as I should of known better than to push my luck in slop-land...the only bias uncovered is a bias against winning...I'll give my luck another shove over at Northville where it is getting colder and the track may be good+ and also give the later Cal-Expo another shot..click on pushing luck.pdf and have a great evening Handicapping Harness..Good luck!

With either wet weather forecast in the mid-west or tracks thawing out I have directed today's attention and selections to the what seems an odd trio of Dover, Pompano and Cal-Expo who all have dry conditions in their forecasts... Click on this unlikely trio of tracks.pdf for today's selections and if I see anything worthwhile for any other tracks I may put up a quick post on it later. Last nights (continued below)

It's gonna be a busy day..a little casino and then some live racing tonight..here are the early selections for Monticello.. Click on Monticello.pdf and check back for the evening selections and yesterday's recap..Good luck and have a pleasant afternoon. It looks like the Afternoon was about a wash at Monticello..2 fer 7 for $13.10...The casino trip was fairly uneventful..just observed more proof that being a crack ho or video poker ho has its similarities...very addicting is putting it mild..that reminds me..I have to be on the lookout for that Hockey Playing Ho from Fergus Falls this evening..hope I don't get checked from behind...Here are the rest for Dover, Meadows, Northville, Northfield and Woodbine..Click here for Tuesday later Selections.pdf or they also are continued below..Good luck and have a pleasant evening Handicapping Harness.

Carl the "Closer" and Clan made an unexpected surprise visit yesterday and his pair of fillies were oh so cute..they sure put the "Merry" in Christmas..The Closer said he may post a few guest selections for a planned trip Northville tomorrow...His wife may also tag along as she has been wondering where this place us degenerates hang out at the track..as she has never been elsewhere but the clubhouse on about half a dozen previous trips to the track..That reminds me the time I first met the Closers wifey...I asked him how far Minnesota was from Fargo and then I made a comment about how Minnesota was famous for it's "HO's" and "Hockey-Players"..He said, "Hey...My wife is from Minnesota"...I shot back.."Oh!..What team does she play for?" Anyhow the early selections are ready... Click here for Monticello Freehold and Meadows.pdf and check back later for possible evening selections. Have a great afternoon and good luck! Duh...I forgot Dover..Click on Duh...Dover.pdf The Late selections are now available for Northfield, Windsor and Pompano.. Click right on this spot for more.pdf and I hope I don't get "High-sticked or speared" by that hockey player.....

Happy Holidays From Handicapping Harness
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah also! You have one last chance to get some Harness in at either Freehold or Monticello starting at 11:30 AM at Freehold...Today's big hunch bet is at Freehold in race 7.."Yulestar N"...Not an official pick but pretty appropriate for today! Rumor has it that Santa is actually headquartered in Michigan somewhere near "Northville" and his team pulling the sleigh is made up of 8 pacers and trotters....Albatross, Mack Lobell, Cam Fella, Rambling Willie, Greyhound, Niatross, Easy Irv, and Lightening Mick...and these 8 are led by the greatest pacer of all..."Dan Patch"..(who probably could go 1:44 with today's equipment and track surface) Have a great and safe Holiday and we'll see you all in a few days.
