Opening day is today for the Survivor Contest at the Meadowlands and here are a few reminders...Get your selections in by a half hour to post of the first race of the day...you only get 1 free pass, so pay attention to race dates and times..(Big tip here...Monday's program list the first post at 7:30 PM..however the special Memorial Day card actually starts at 1:10 PM FYI) and if your selection is scratched you will get the race favorite...I am down to two contenders for each of today's legs and my comments on them are available in the Post Continuation below....Good luck to all! Last evening in the Youbet.net daily contest I took a late stab with a 2nd time lasix horse at Hoosier...paid 57 to win but alas it was only good enough for 3rd place out of 445 players...no cigar.... ScreenShot088 is how it looks on their site if you care to take a peek. Forgot to mention Ponder at Western Fair in the Molson eliminations..just to watch...race 3....

The fantasy turned into a nightmare...not 1 winner yesterday..oh well...give em hell!!..click right HERE for some Pompano and Meadows. A side-note about the Preakness...back in 69 I attended it and saw the second of the great races between Majestic Prince and Arts and Letters...I had the Prince!...and still have the program from that day in history.....(still like Barbaro today)
