Friday...Spring Has Sprung...

Youbet.net finally gets back on track..today's contest is $10 Trifecta...we got about 5" of snow last night..only 2.3" away from the record at Detroit Metro Airport...it is melting fast...I see more robins arriving each day..If I were near the track in Northville I would be smelling the thaw of this season's frozen fertilizer...all sure signs of spring!  Monday it will be "Play-Ball" ...Catch Spring Fever while Handicapping Harness...Good Luck!

Thursday..Bring Back The Message Board!

For the Computer's selections just click it on Thursday's Tips  ...it looks like it has favored plays for the afternoon and punks out with 1 selection for this evening.... Ever since Youbet has removed it's message board, a big fan favorite, I think it has lost touch with it's customer base..they thought it was best because of 2 war camps calling each other names, making them cry etc. that they didn't have time to monitor it...hell there were many volunteers to monitor and it was the virtual "Water-Cooler" in terms Horses, Handicapping and sometimes Stock talk...and a good place for them to feel the "Pulse" of their business...Cest La Vie...have a nice day Handicapping Harness while I'm off to my Dr. appt. again this afternoon...dang it....Good Luck!

I don't know when this started, but if you have an unlimited Platinum Plus Performance account at TrackMaster, you now also have unlimited access to StatsMaster.

This is a fantastic tool for the handicapper. Pick a track, set a date range and it will show you stats for Drivers (all starts, off track, favorites, longshots), Trainers (all starts, detention barn, 1st off claim, 1st off layoff) and Horses (all starts, off track, detention barn, 1st off layoff). All in all, it's a great addition to the Handicapping Harness toolbox!

Wednesday..A Nice Day To Make Hay!

Click it Here For Wednesday  Selections via The Computer... the mysterious contest continues at Youbet.net   ..it looks like it is a 12 day contest with $2 Trifecta as the minimum bet... I am not really happy how Youbet has handled this one...NO explanation (well at least I didn't see one) on why or when and NO reply to my email to Playerservices@Youbet.net... for a Company listed on the stock exchange you would think they would know how to communicate... a simple explanation email would of worked wonders... Maybe they are going to go cheap for a certain chunk of the month and then unleash a few very big (my guess would be $500) contests on certain weekends...  but looking on Nasdaq today I see their stock is way off it's 52 week high ..take a peek here: http://quotes.nasdaq.com/asp/SummaryQuote.asp?selected=UBET&symbol=UBET

Tuesday..Marching Along...

Click it on Tuesday's Picks  for 10 Computer Selections.....I have seen several signs of spring...7" of snow.. a quick melt.. and then 2 fat Robins...baseball season just around the corner and Harness Action starting to heat up...along with my electric bill...someone here wanted a space heater to be close to them for a little more warmth..looks like it added about $38 to the electric bill...what a little hog!  Have a good day Handicapping Harness..Good Luck!

Back To The Grind Monday

Click on Back To The Grind  Computerized Selections for Monday...So we have St. Pat's Day, The First Day Of Spring and Easter all knocked off in about a weeks time...NOW it's back to work for the serious Handicapper..On my watch list I have JUST WING IT at Northville in race 12 with 2 ultra-sharp wins..going up in class and may not be the favorite..use it...don't abuse it...and have a great start of a new week Handicapping Harness...Good Luck!
