Monday...Maybe Some Speed?

Click it Here For Monday  selections....The "Computer" worked almost 100% yesterday...earthstink sent me a free link to their PC Fine-Tuneup..I ran it (it took about an hour and a half)..refreshed and bingo!..the rest of the late day was going ok...though I am still not approaching my old upload speeds of about 450..I am now anywhere between 280-360...but the light where my Ethernet cord is plugged in has been blinking away which is a good sign that I can bring up and maintain most sites... Sunday....No Hay,...No Speed...

Click it Here For Sunday  Computer Selections...Once again a familiar Bug-a-Boo struck last night...this connection here at Command Central slowed to a crawl at about 5PM -1045PM...the local cable company had a recording that there was a wide spread outage in a certain area...they ask to do the speed test..after waiting half an hour the site comes up...I get 6700 kbps download..and then the upload does not budge...tech support in India says to unplug everything and stick it back in (I'm so tempted to say where)...since it is Sunday..my last resort is prayer...I hope I works this evening so I can play some contest pick-3's at  Youbet.net   and maybe make some use of the material I have from Handicapping Harness...Good Luck!

Saturday...Make Some Hay....

Over at youbet.com..they have a qualifier contest for the National Harness Handicapping Contest at Cal-Expo starting tonight and two more on May 10 & May 24..the prizes look good but it will cost you to play (Minimum $60 total bet ) click on Youbet for the scoop.. Youbet.net has today's normal free contest with the bet being any amount on Pick-6.... I will be taking a shot at both of these..as long as this Computer doesn't act up again..last night it was A-OK... but I sure wish I knew what caused it to crawl the previous 3 evenings..with plenty of tracks going today it's about time to start Handicapping Harness...Good Luck!

Friday...No Mo Problems...(I Hope)

Click on This Spot  for the Computer's picks of the day...and try to figure out a lock Superfecta as the bet of the day at Youbet.net is $100 Superfecta..with the normal starting bankroll of 1k...(tip: I am going to try to build that 1k by betting a few obvious chalks to build it up..let's say about 4 or 5k..then try the Superfecta bet..it may backfire but I think I'm gonna need more than 1k to play...you CAN make other bets then what the bet of the day is and then use your bankroll on the certain bet of the day..as long as you win...) ok that was more than a mouthful..my connection seemed to work well last evening..I sure would like the truth of why it was going down on me for the 3 previous nights...maybe when I slammed the linksys router it woke up a little..and may I remind you to have a pleasant day Handicapping Harness...Good Luck!

Thursday...Mo Woes...

Click it on Selections For Thursday  by the Computer who refuses to work with me between the hours of about 6:30 - 11:30 PM.. between calls to the local cable company and the supposed support from India..things are ok at the present ....as it has been the past 3 afternoons...I suspect there is a short in the Linksys VOIP router...so...the next time it stops uploading I am going to plug in directly to the modem whether the Queen likes it or not..(because the phone will not work then)...and if that works I suspect it is the router...but it is really strange...that this happens only in the evenings...I can bring up the various Poker sites such as Cake, Bodog and others and that works fine...but nothing else...I hope everyone is having a better day (evening) than me while Handicapping Harness...Good Luck!  I forgot to mention that TrackChampion is having another qualifier for the Finals ($500 prize pool in the Finals)..just go to our Handicapping Harness Links and click on TrackChampion..then click on Contest in the header..everything you need is explained there...I just put in my picks in case this computer craps out on me again...also this is a "Live" contest...you can get your pick in race by race..but don't get shut out!!

Wednesday... Woe Is Me....

Click it on Wednesday Selections  (the Computer hit one for $20 Yesterday) as I am surprised that I am able to get online at all right now...for the past two evenings starting at around 6:30 EST  my upload speed crashes from 450 to about 12...I am going to have to call my ISP and get shuffled around by customer service in India for 4 hours or so.... So I was unable to place any bets but I am not sure how I would of done because I kept messing with the damn thing...
