Yeah, March is the windy one...however on the way home I saw what was probably the Dad and and a young girl and boy flying a kite and trying to get another one going...what was unusual is that it has been years since I have seen such a thing....along with pick-up games on empty ball fields...lots of kids riding bikes...even kids going door to door asking if some one wants to get shoveled out of the snow....Times are a changing....It will be a matter of time when we see a 1.45 mile in Harness...get up and out..take the kids to the track..fly a kite...take a bike ride....play catch....before everyone forgets how to do it.....click on Download Flying a Kite for today's computer selections....anybody know of any Harness Contest coming up soon? Please leave a reply in the comments section...thank you and have great day Handicapping Harness....(after flying that kite) Good Luck!

I saw a list in some forum that listed the NHHC qualies...still searching for it...nice that soon you will be out playing with your grand daughter and who knows??? maybe more...I don't have any children but I have 4 nephews and 3 or 4 nieces..I cant think right this minute....and great nephews (2) and the same number of great-nieces...some of my nieces and nephews are double cousins...not too common but when sisters marry brothers that is what you get.... Toledo should be opening soon...another month and the weather should start to the green-up...have a great day...Handicapping Harness...

I forgot, you mentioned the handicapping contest. Last year Penn National had a qualifier for the NHHC here in Toledo. Sent the top 2 all expenses and entries paid to the final. Haven't heard or seen anything yet, but I will let you know. I kind of doubt it though as I think the final is in the middle of April already

I just became a grandpa 2 weeks ago, and I have to say, I am looking forward to the day I can take my little grand daughter to the track to let her watch the horses , and spoil her with those track hot dogs and soda, and ice cream cones.
