Slop It Up!

     Yesterday was about a 85% washout as the rain continues along the Eastern Seaboard and other locations such as The Meadows...(call me Mr. Lucky...I tried a pick 3 at The Meadows and I  my lucky numbers hit the pool for $730..  I shut down on betting after that until later at Balmoral where I had 2nditis the last couple or races)  One very useful stat on a TrackMaster Platinum Plus Program is that they have a separate lifetime off track stat which can give you a general idea how some can run in the mud...Click on Thursday Computer Selections for the regular picks (somehow I missed the fact that Harrington started at 11 this morning...)  This Saturday is the last qualifying day in the TrackMaster Contest..I will try to get a head start for my last crack at it....it's hard work Handicapping Harness....Good Luck!

Wednesday-Hump Day

Less Than 5 Months Till Christmas....

     We are finally getting some Summertime Heat here in Livonia Michigan, 5 miles due east from Northville Downs.....I still don't know what the fate of Harness Racing will be at the end of the Month here in Michigan...I suppose we will find out soon....well for the Free Picks click it on Monday Computer Selections I have to get going and see what's happening over at $2 Dad's place...Think about getting your Christmas shopping started while Handicapping Harness...Good Luck!

Crazy at Saratoga

Here's an oddity in the 5th race at Saratoga today (I had the 2 horse keyed in a few different bets): Correction: I had the 1 horse. It was the show price that made me look up the pool totals.



The 8 horse in this race had $10 in the win pool, $2 in the place pool and $986 in the show pool. $986 to show in a pool of $1412 total on a horse that was 87-1? What the heck was that all about?

More Than Enough....
