It was darn near a whole month of $2 Dad in the hospital for the nearly fatal Legionairres Disease...Dad is back in his Computer Room printing out programs and bitching about too many favorites winning...I guess that means he is well again....So...I have a few picks in honor of his homecoming yesterday...click it on Welcome Back $2DaD2$ for them...thanks again to all of the well-wishers and the prayers for him.....Have a great Homecoming Handicapping Harness....Welcome Back & Good Luck!

I'll post the next Al Stanley Newsletter in a couple days, I'm beat from flying some long distances. I do however, want to correct an over-site on my part, for not taking the time to thank Daily Double for sending us Issue No. 42 below. Thanks Daily Double!!
Last Friday the Dr.s told us to prepare for the worst case scenario...yesterday they said expect a full recovery.....the last 48 hours were remarkable...no more dialysis...no more pneumonia..no more slipping into a confused state (dementia)...no more Legionairres disease and other things...all he needs is to get his stamina back and do some physical therapy to get in and out of the bed and start walking....we kept up a 24 hour watch until last night...to make sure he didn't try to get up by himself...the watch has been canceled and normal visiting starts today....I am sure he is chomping at the bit and is thinking about Handicapping...(I think that is the real reason he made it? :) )...I will resume posting when all is back to normal...thanks all for your prayers and kind remarks....Have a great day Handicapping Harness...Good Luck!
More on cleaning up your house when Legionairres is suspected in the continue reading section...we are not sure he got it at home but it seems the most logical to us...and there was standing water in the humidifier....Brother Denny did the research on it....

I have not been Handicapping today...My $2Dad had to go to emergency for what we thought was something to do with his fairly new pacemaker...well we found out that it was not something critical..but he has been admitted for observation tonight...I won't be doing much harness wise..except they gave him 2 shots of Lasix directly into an IV...he said "now I'm gonna piss like a race horse"...that's $2Dad for ya.....have a good night Handicapping Harness....(I know $2Dad wishes he was at his computer looking for earplugs)....Have a good day and good luck!
I am not kidding...the cold was sneaking in through my slab floor and through my fur lined slippers ..my feet were taking a beating...but it was nowhere as bad as Fargo ND....Carl The Closer said a new record of 37 below? and a -57 with windchill....in Livonia Michigan we are warming up to 17 or so.....I scoped out a few races...hopefully the pacers and trotters will be ok in the cold...click on Cold In The Corner for the selections...The Estimator took a few days off and hit Vegas....So either the Al Stanley Sunday will have to wait until next week or maybe he will post them during the week...no promises from my department....keep your back to the cold when Handicapping Harness...Good Luck!
